You have the Mediterranean Sea at your feet and the snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains in your back.
You have not far to the beach and the small fishing village of La Caleta, or if you want to take a trip to the genuine Spanish town of Salobrena (2 km) with the old Moorish castle and all the restaurants.
In Almunecar (6 km) you have even more restaurants, water land and a big aquarium for the kids. Just outside Almunecar there is a big zoo in the mountains. Almuncar has an old town with small shops and of course lots of bars and discothèques.
In one hour with car you are up in the wonderful city of Granada and the old castle of Alhambra. From November to April you can ski in Sierra Nevada and you are close to several golf courses.
Urbanization is named one of the top ten in all of Spain. The pool villa is situated on a hillside 220 meters above sea level in the exclusive urbanization Monte De Los Almendros. We have a communal tennis court and two larger pools, one is a children's pool. There are also a green area and playground for the little ones.
The area is very peaceful and quiet and there is a mixture of Spanish rustic villas to more luxurious architectural villas, all nestled in greenery with palm and orange trees.
This luxury villa was built in 2008 and has five spacious bedrooms with room for 10 people, 3 bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a large living room of 50 square meters - the living area is in total over 300 square meters.
You have one large dining room inside and one outside if you want to sit on the porch and enjoy the beautiful view.
On the sun terrace you can top up your tan, relax with an exotic drink and then cool off in a solar-heated saltwater pool. There is also a small garden with lemon, orange and mango trees. The house is walled and the terraces are secluded and there is a safe outside parking for 3 cars.
The pool has stairs and the depth goes from about 1 meter to 1.70.
Pool and garden maintained by a gardener, so you do not have to think about that.
The master bedroom is located upstairs with a walk in closet and a luxury private bathroom. Wake up with the chirping of birds, a view of the sunrise, the sea and the town of Salobrena.
Bedroom number two is on the same level and has a double bed and a large sliding door wardrobe and a bathroom just outside the door.
Bedroom number three is on the 2nd floor and has two single beds and a private sun terrace of 15 square meters with a fabulous view.
The top terrace has chairs and tables so you can take breakfast with the sunrise or perhaps an evening drink and enjoy the entire enlightened town of Salobrena, with a starlit sky, you just relax and dream away.
On the ground floor there is a bedroom number four, it has a double bed and a sliding door wardrobe.
On the same floor are a bathroom and a generous dining area for up to 10 people with large sliding glass doors that open out to the terrace. There is also a TV with only Spanish TV channels (antenna) and there are also the internet connections.
The roofed terrace has a large dining area with a BBQ. From here there is a spectacular view.
The kitchen is a modern kitchen in white with marble countertops. There is an workbench in the center and also a fridge / freezer, hob, oven, microwave and of course a wine cooler.
If we go down a staircase, we find the fifth double bedroom and a large sliding door wardrobe.
Here you also have a spacious living room of 50 square meters with a large television and room for everyone. There are Spanish, English and German TV channels (satellite).
Just outside the kitchen, in a separate building there is a washing machine and another fridge / freezer.
Good to know
Upon arrival and departure, we have a Managing Agent on site. She walks through the house with you, hand over the keys, talk about how everything works and answer any questions. She is from England and is fluent in Spanish.
The villa is suitable for elderly or infirm - the entrance for the cars, terrace and pool, kitchen, dining areas, shower with toilet and a bedroom located on the ground floor.
All bed linens and towels are in place. Towels for the beach, we want you to bring your own. Cleaning and change of linen is included and performed by our housekeeper.
There are heat pumps for heating and cooling at all levels except the top bedroom.
Electricity is read on arrival and departure. Electricity consumption to a value of 35 Euros per week included in the price. Consumption exceeding this paid separately upon departure to the Managing Agent.
