The holiday home entrance door leads to the kitchen and bathroom area.
The kitchen is fully fitted with a washing machine, electric hob, oven, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer, toaster, cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots etc.
The fully tiled bathroom has a bath tub, a walk in double shower with a 'drench head' shower as well as spa massage nozzles.
From the kitchen is a tiled staircase into the spacious lounge, which is fully equipped with a 50" television supported by an andriod viewing tv box and local channels, a CD player and a very effective ceiling fan. The lounge also houses the FREE WIFI and a dining table with 4 seating places.
From the lounge is a further staircase to the bedrooms with the main bedroom having a double bed, double wardrobe, 3 drawer chest and a ceiling fan. The other bedroom has a day bed which converts into a double bed in a few seconds.
A few steps up to the terrace to reveal the spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The sunshine is on the terrace from sunrise til sunset with the beaches being only a few minutes walk away! Of course, the terrace has all facilities if you wish to sun yourself in privacy all day, such as a BBQ (charcoal not gas), fridge, table, chairs and parasol for 'el fresco' eating and sun loungers.
Lying beneath the impressive remains of the old arab castle (Castillo San Miguel) and round the corner from the Cave of the Seven Palaces (Archaeological museum, Cueva Siete Palacios) and the Majuelo botanical gardens. Within minutes you are down into the Plaza De Constitucion (Town Hall Square) with the buzz of the many bars, restaurants, and the eclectic shops and boutiques that lay around. The fabulous Playa Del Mar beach is a short 5-10 min walk and the San Cristobel beach is 10-15 minutes walk. On the beach fronts lie many bars and nightclubs open until the early hours of the morning!!!
Every Friday in the town main car park is a massive open air market which sells everything you need! in the same venue every Sunday is a large secondhand (fleamarket) where various bargains can be picked up.

The Aqua Park (open summer season) with numerous water rides, pools, bars, restaurants.
There are a number of local festivals and fiestas throughout the year, which create a wonderful carnival atmosphere. A short walk from the holiday home is a local market offering fresh fruit, meat and fish.
The Bus Station is only a 10 min walk and offers an excellent and cheap service to surrounding areas including the bustling town of Motril and the holiday town of Nerja.
Two minutes walk from the property you will find the local corner shop and a bakery with the reputed La Corrala bar and gourmet restaurant just around the corner.
Recent road upgrades has reduced the travel times to larger cities such as Malaga and Granada being as little as an hours drive away.
IMPORTANT ******** Please note due to the cobbled hill access this property is NOT suitable for the infirm or disabled.
The property is accessible to vehicles for dropping off luggage etc but, there is no immediate parking outside the house, however there is ample street parking within walking distance. During the peak summer months, street parking is more difficult, but the underground car park on Paseo de Atillo (under 10 mins walk to the house).
We live in town and manage our own holiday home. From April 2017, we will meet and greet all of our guests at the house at a time agreed prior to your arrival. We will also arrive at the house prior to your departure.
All guests are strictly required to vacate the holiday home by 12 noon on their departure day. This is to allow the cleaning of the property for the next holiday makers.
Check in for arrivals is 16:00 which can be flexible by prior arrangement.
