If you decided for a holiday home in Riviera, Riviera del Sol near Marbella, you have everything close: there are several small stores, restaurants, bars, an internet cafe, etc within easy distance of your apartment or villa. the shops are opposite a very peaceful and popular park (Princess Diana Park) and gardens. New is the 18 hours/day supermarket (Opencor) next to the entrance to Riviera.
Apart from several small shops, there are 2 commercial centres: Riviera Plaza and Riviera Comercial with restaurants, chemist, gifts and souvenirs, etc..
Just outside Marbella, a 10 minute drive away is La Canada, a large shopping mall, which is great fashion shopping, electric goods and items for your holiday homes. Ideal place to visit if you encounter a rainy day on the Costa del Sol.
The beach at Riviera del Sol is usually quite quiet. Just next to the beach is a chiringuito (beach bar) where they serve food as well as drinks - really worth a try!
